Charles E. McClemens, CDT graduated from the United States Air Force School of Healthcare Sciences, which provided a solid foundation his career in the dental laboratory profession. He has also completed advanced studies under Dennis P. Tarnow, DDS and at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies, and is certified in ceramics by the National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology. Most recently, he completed the written AACD examination on his quest to be one of the only twenty AACD accredited dental technicians in the world.

Charles currently serves as the Executive Vice President of the Florida Dental Laboratory Association, in addition to serving on the FDLA Government Affairs Committee and as Co-Chair of the FDLA 2008 Symposium & Expo Committee. He also serves on the Business Management Committee for the National Association of Dental Laboratories.

In 13 years of owning and operating Perception Dental Laboratories, he has aspired to create the most esthetically pleasing and functionally correct prosthesis possible, and has a wide network of dentists and laboratories requesting his lecturing and hands-on services on a freelance basis. He is truly committed to advancing the persona of the dental laboratory profession in the eyes of the dental team.
